John Wesley Holt was a 2021 graduate of St. Luke’s Episcopal School, an Eagle Scout, and a sophomore electrical engineering major at the University of South Alabama when he was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident on February 21st , 2023. In honor of his memory, the Holt family established the John Wesley Holt Legacy Scholarships. These will be awarded to a senior at St. Luke’s School and a sophomore electrical engineering student at the University of South Alabama who exemplifies John Wesley’s character.
